The next day, the adventurers take a break, settling in, getting to know the town a bit better. Tuvok pays a visit to the Lillybrook Orphanage and droops a hefty amount of money on them.
Ahmed visits Oak Island, and visits with Lira Toliver, leader of the Oak Island Conclave. She offers to take him out of town that evening to stretch his new form shifting ability.
The next day, the receive a summons form the council again. They are informed that that they discovered that Redric has fled, and they have discovered a tunnel under the General Store that leads north to a well hidden cave on the swamp. The council has seized the store as well as any other assets that Redric left behind.
Additionally, the council believes that the smugglers who are bringing the contraband are probably still making the normal runs, and it is likely that they will return the next new moon to deliver their next load of contraband,. They are asked to take that side of the operation out.
Having determined that the code on the piece of paper they discovered was a mariner code, they wait the two week until the new moon, and a set a trap for the smugglers.
(5/17/591) Two days after vernal equinox.
After the appropriate signals are send, the group waits for the first delivery, and swiftly take care of the smugglers on it. Taking it and the other jolly bot, splitting the group, they take the Sea Ghost from both sides, swiftly taking care of the smugglers. The captain and wizard take the better part, and leap into the sea to escape into the dark sea.
The mate was carrying a magic sword (Sunderer).
After investigating the captains cabin, where they find a rough drawn chart of the area, and a location is marked not far away, as they leave, they encounter three lizard folk leaving form under the fo’c’sle. With a quick judging of strength, the lizard folk jump ship. Staying behind is a psuedodragon, that makes a link with Ahmed.
As they search the ship, they find the hull filled with thousands of gold worth of contraband, and a hidden catch of weapons. They also discovered a map that seems to lead to a lizard folk lair within striking distance of Saltmarsh.
