Eye of the Basilisk
Weapon (longsword), unique
A simple longsword, unadorned save for a reptilian eye at the base of one side of the blade.
You gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls they make with this magic longsword.
Touch of Stone. On a critical hit, a creature struck by the Eye of the Basilisk must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be restrained as the target’s skin begins to turn to stone. At the end of your next turn, the target must make another saving throw or else be petrified. Otherwise, the restrained condition wears off after 1d4 rounds.
If a creature is already under the restrained condition caused by Touch of Stone is struck by Eye of Basilisk (or another effect that is similar) and fails the initial saving throw, the target is petrified.
The creature remains petrified until freed by a greater restoration spell or other magic.
